Types of mouth ulcers
There are three types of mouth ulcers:
Herpetiform Ulceration (UH)
It is a type of canker sore very similar to herpes-related sores. However, UH is not contagious.
Minor ulcers
This variant of mouth ulcer can be between 2 and 8 mm wide. His pain is mild and goes away in two weeks.
Major ulcers
These are large ulcers. These take longer to go away and your pain may be greater.
Symptoms of mouth ulcers
Before we feel the appearance of a mouth ulcer, our mouth will experience a tingling sensation.
After this, canker sores are usually painful and annoying. These symptoms can be more evident during the ingestion of food, drinks or lack of hygiene.

- Have good oral hygiene
- Visit your dentist regularly
- Use suitable hygiene products, without Sodium Lauryl Sulphate.
- Eat a balanced diet
- Avoid very hot foods and drinks
- Be careful while chewing
- Avoid stress
- No smoking
- Reduce alcohol consumption
